Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city. Meet and transfer to the standard hotel. Visit to Gandan Monastery - Mongolian Buddhist center and see the Statue of the Migjid Janraisag God. It is  26 m high God gilded by a gold. Visit Zaisan Hiill to view Ulaanbaatar city. After lunch visit Natural History Museum - it's very famous with its real dinosaur skeletons and fossils.

Flight to the town of Olgii, the administrative center  of Bayan - Olgii. You can certainly feel that you are in a Muslim - influenced Central Asian region.
Visit local museum. Stay in local hotel.

Day3
After breakfast  by car start driving trip to lake of Tolbo Nuur.
Tolbo Nuur is a lake of 185 square kilometers whose surface is at 2,080 meters above sea level.
The lake water is crystal clear and fresh, over 10 kilometers wide, 18 kilometers long and 10 meters deep.

On the road to the lake of Tolbo Nuur from the town of Olgii you can drive through the glacial moraine. Reach and accommodate in kazak family, taste some kinds of diary products.
Overnight in tent or kazak family.

Day 4
Continue driving trip to Deluun soum.
Reach in Strictly protected mountains "Khukh Serkhiin Nuruu". It  is a Strictly protected Area , a mountainous trast on the border of Bayan - Olgii Aimag and Khovd Aimag. The  "Khukh Serkhiin Nuruu" Range extends over 50 kilometers to the southeast of the Gurvan Tsast Mountain which is a spur of the Mongol Altai Nuruu Range. The peak is Takhilt Uul capped with eternal snow, with its peak at 4.019 meters above sea level. The "Khukh Serkhiin Nuruu" Range is inhabited by Siberian Dffr, Argali, Siberian Ibex, Eurasian Lynx, Snow cock and other rare animals.

Reach Khovd city the administrative center  of Khovd province. Khovd Aimag has an ethnically  heterogeneous population of people: Khalkh, Torguut, Uriankhai, Zakhchin, Bayad, Uuld, Myangad etc. You can see their customs and culture.

Day 6
Visit to local museum and Sangiin Herem.
Khovd city is based on the Buyant river and is a good place to base your trip. Of special interest is Sangiin Herem, the ruins of a walled compound in the city, of considerable extent, built by the Chinese Manchu around 1792. The Manch u compound was abandoned after the 1911 Chinese revolution overthrew the last emperor of China.

Continue driving trip to Gurban Tsenkher Cave.  The caves are reasonably attractive but the draw card is the cave paintings inside which are approximately 15,000 years old.
Horse riding.
Overnight in tent or nomadic family.

Days 8-9
Trip continues. On the way overnight in tent  of Darbi soum.  Reach Sutai Khaikhan mountain. Sutai khaikhan mountain -  at 4090 meter, this is the highest  peak in Gob- Alltai, though part of it is in Khovd Aimak.Permanently snowcapped, Sutai is an awesome sight when travelling along the Altai - Khovd road. Explore the area & see also there many kind of wild animals.

Drive to Ereen Lake. Reach there and visit nomadic family. Camel riding. Home stay in nomad family. Swimming in the lake of Ereen.

 

Day 12
Drive to Khunkher camp. This place is 2450 meter high above the see level. See the interesting caves & rocky formulation & forest.

Day 13
Reach to Juulchin Altai tourist camp. Visit to Aimak's local museum. Free time.
Overnight at the tourist camp.

Days 14-15
Continue driving to Gurbanbulag soum of Bayankhongor Aimak. On the way overnight in tent. Reach Gurbanbulag soum. Visit horse breeder's family. Taste "airag" fermented mare's milk and some kinds of diary products, watching the preparation of Mongolian National vodka - Shimiin arkhi. Overnight in nomadic family.

Whole day horse riding trip to lake "Khukh Nuur" & "Hariinii Rashaan" spa. Before lunch reach to old horse breeder's family. Overnight in nomadic family.

Day 17
Breakfast.
Trip continues. Drive to  the direction of Kharakhorum crossing the territory of Arkhangai province.
Reach to Hot Spa of Tsenkheriin Khaluun Us, which is now serving as health spa for tourists, lies 30 kilometers south of Tsetserleg town. The water of Tsenkheriin Khaluun Us spring is remarkably hot at +86.5 C and contains hydrogen sulfide.
Overnight at the camp.

Day 18
Reach and visit to Kharakhorum ancient capital of  the Mongolian Unified Empire back to the XIII century and Erdene Zuu Monastery, a monastery built back in 1586 using not a single nail.
Accommodation in tourist camp.

Day 19
Breakfast
After breakfast start driving to Khustain Mountain Ranje - Natural Reserve. On the way see "Elsen Tasarkhai".

It is a border place of desert forested mountainous steppe zones.
Before dinner reach in tourist camp Khustai.
Evening see wild horses.
Overnight at the tourist camp.

Day 20
After breakfast drive to Ulaanbaatar
Shopping. Visit Gobi Cashmere factory shop & State Department Store.
Cultural program - Mongolian traditional folk songs & dance concert.
Accommodate at the standard hotel.
