Day 1 Arrival in Ulaanbaatar city. Meet and transfer to the standard hotel. Visit to Gandan Monastery ,Mongolian Buddhist center and see the Statue of the Migjid Janraisag God. It is 26 m high God gilded by a gold. Visit Zaisan Hiill to view Ulaanbaatar city. After lunch visit Natural History Museum it's very famous with its real dinosaur skeletons and fossils. Accommodation in a hotel. Day 2 Early morning flight to the South Gobi. Lunch. After lunch drive to Khongoriin Els, a distance of 220 km from the local airport. Khongoriin Els sand dunes, the largest sea of send stretch for 180 kilometers. Overnight tourist camp. Day 3 Breakfast. Explore surrounding area & visit nomadic family. Taste Mongolian dairy products. Camel riding. Continue driving to Bayanzag. On the way see the lake in the middle of sand dunes. Bayanzag -homeland of dinosaurs and currently regarded as the cemetery for its fossils and eggs. Bayanzag is a forest area /130kms/ and was an ancient sea in prehistoric times. It is paradise for majestic creatures and their babies. Drive to Yoliin Am. The valley is about 10 km long. Get out from the other side. You may be lucky enough to spot wild sheep and goat, grazing high on the cliff walls. The valley is also full of soaring eagles hunting for prey. At the opening of the valley is a natural Museum displaying interesting demonstrations and information about the animals of the area. Reach tourist camp. Accommodation in tourist camp. Day 4 Fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Leisure lunch. Shopping. Visit Gobi Cashmere factory shop & State Department Store. Cultural program - Mongolian traditional folk songs & dance concert. Accommodation in standard hotel. Day 5 After breakfast start driving to Elsen Tasarkhai. It is a border place of desert forested mountainous steppe zones. Lunch is on the way. Before dinner reach in Elsen Tasarkhai. Accommodation in tourist camp. Day 6 Continue driving to Orkhon waterfall. Water falls from a height of 20 meters at Orkhon Waterfall, which is locally known as Ulaan Tsutgalan. The width of stream at the point where it forms the spectacular waterfall is 10 meters. The road to the waterfall is not easily accessible, owing to rocky surface of the area along the bank of Orkhon river. Accommodation in tourist camp. Day 7 Breakfast in the tourist camp. Drive to Kharakhorum. Lunch picnic on the way. Before dinner reach in Kharakhorum. Accommodation in tourist camp. Day 8 Breakfast. Excursion to symbolic ruins of Kharakhorum - ancient capital of the Mongolian Unified Empire back to the XIII century and Erdene Zuu Monastery, a monastery built back in 1586 using not a single nail. After lunch visit nomadic family and horse riding. Overnight at the camp. Day 9 After breakfast drive direction to Ulaanbaatar. Reach Khustai Mountain Range. Accommodate in Khustai tourist camp. Khustai Mountain Range see wild horses. Day 10 Breakfast. Drive to Ulaanbaatar and stay in standard hotel. Lunch Shopping. Visit Gobi Cashmere factory shop & State Department Store. Free time. Overnight at the hotel. Day 11 Ulaanbaatar. After breakfast departure.
