Day 1
Arrive at Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel. After lunch visit to Natural History Museum. Not only complete Dinosaur skeletons but the Worlds best collection of dinosaur eggs and their nests are on display. Dinner. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 2
Drive in the direction of Kharakhorum. En route see wild horse in the Khustai National Park. Elsen tasarkhai the boarder place of mountainous forested area & steppe desert zones. Overnight at ger camp in Elsen tasarkhai.
Day 3 - 4
Excursion to symbolic ruins of Kharakhorum, the ancient capital of the Mongolian United Empire back in the XIII century and visit to Erdenezuu monastery, the first Buddhist Lamasery center of the XVI century. Drive to remarkable Hot Spa of Tsenkheriin Khaluun Us , which is now serving as a health spa for tourists, it lies 30 kms south of Tsetserleg town. The water of Tsenkheriin Khaluun Us spring is remarkably hot at +86.5 C and contains hydrogen sulfide. Overnight at ger camp.
Day 5
Start driving in the direction of Khuvsgul lake and cross the territory of Arkhangai province. On the way see the Taikhar Rock, a mysterious steep sided pinnacle of granite, 25 meters high rising abruptly from the grassland of the gravel spreads of the Tamir river. Chuluut River and Canyon. It is flows through a wide rocky canyon that was made up of basalt for white water rafting and excellent sport for fly fishing. Before dinner reach Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur. Dinner and overnight in ger camp.
Day 6
Full day excursion. Surrounded by extinct volcanoes, Lake Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur is an astonishingly beautiful lake with crystal clear water. On the east of the lake lies a dead volcano Khorgo Uul which has State protection as a National Park. Horse riding. Overnight at ger camp.
Day 7
Continue driving to Khuvsgul lake. On the way overnight in tent by the Delgermoron River.
Day 8
Continue driving to Khuvsgul lake. On the way go via Moron town Khuvsgil province. Before dinner reach Khuvsgul lake. Accomodation at ger camp.
Day 9
Activities: various nature trips, trekking, fishing, boating, swimming, wildlife viewing, photography and videography tours. Khuvsgul lake is one of the countries largest lakes and it features one of the of most spectacular areas of the country. The lake is 136 km long and 36 km wide stretching from north to south. Accommodation at ger camp.
Day 10
Continue driving trip, visit to the Reindeer (Tsaatan ) family and come back to camp. The Tsaatan (meaning reindeer herdsman in Mongolian) are one of Mongolia most fascinating ethnic people. They live in the rugged taiga forested mountain areas to the north west of lake Khuvsgul and north of Darkhadiin Khotgor Depression. These taiga forest dwellers use reindeer for transporting supplies, riding, and milk, but are only rarely used for meat. Overnight at the ger camp.
Day 11
Breakfast. Continue driving to the direction of Bulgan province. Lunch at Murun town. Reach Uran Togoo volcano in the evening. Dinner. Overnight at the tourist camp.
Day 12.
Explore Uran togoo volcano Mountain. Enjoy wild nature. Lunch. Drive to Amarbayasgalant monastery. Reach there in the evening. Overnight at the tourist camp.
Day 13.
Breakfast and visit Amarbayasgalant temple a beautiful monastery was built in 1717-1736 by Undur Gegeen (Great Saint) Zanabazar. Lunch. Drive to Ulaanbaatar city. Dinner. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14
Early morning flight to the South Gobi. Lunch. After lunch drive to Khongoryn Els, a distance of 220 km from the local airport. Khongoryn Els sand dunes, the largest sea of sand stretch for 180 kms. Overnight at ger camp.
Day 15
Explore Sand dunes Khongoryn Els & visit nomadic family. Taste Mongolian dairy products. Camel riding. Continue driving to Bayanzag. On the way see the lake in the middle of sand dunes. Bayanzag was the homeland of dinosaurs and is currently regarded cemetery for its fossils and eggs. Bayanzag is a forest area and was an ancient sea in prehistoric times. It is paradise for majestic creatures and their babies. Drive to Yoliin Am. The valley is about 10 km long Get out from the other side. You maybe lucky enough to spot wild sheep and goats, grazing high on the cliff walls. The valley is also full of soaring eagles hunting for prey. At the opening of the valley is a natural Museum displaying interesting demonstrations and information about the animals of the area. Reach tourist camp. Accommodation at ger camp.
Day 16
Fly back to Ulaanbaatar. Leisure lunch. Drive to Terelj National Park. It is famous for its beautiful natural scenery and interesting rock formations. See Turtle rock horse riding. Accommodation in the tourist camp.
Day 17
Trekking in the Park. After lunch drive back to Ulaanbaatar. Cultural program Mongolian traditional folk songs & dance concert. Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 18
After breakfast departure.
